Retail prices are followed by members' discounted prices. If you are a member, please quote your Membership number or call sign when ordering. All prices include VAT (where applicable) and are subject to change without notice. E&OE

Postage and PackingPostage and Packing

To cover the cost of packaging and postage charges please add:

For one item £1.75 (£3.00 if overseas or £9.00 for air delivery)
For two or more items: £3.30 (£5.00 if overseas or £15.00 for air)

Overseas only - for orders with more than two items an extra £1.00 per item or £3.00 for air) is charged

48 Hour Supplement
For an additional fee of £10 per order we will ship goods to you to arrive within 48 hours of reciept by us. This is strictly limited to books only, UK mainland deliveries only, excludes weekends and is subject to stock being available. This service is also limited to orders of three books or less. For larger orders or for deliveries not considered UK mainland (Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Jersey etc) please contact 0870 904 7373 in office hours for details of charges etc. In the event we are unable to fulfil your order or deliver in time, your order will be held and no extra charges made until we have contacted you.

DeliveryDelivery

Unless otherwise described all items are in stock or expected to arrive in stock within 28 days as a maximum. Our current service commitment is that from an order being placed goods will be processed and despatched within three working days by either carrier, Parcelforce or second class post. This is being subject to stock and exceptional circumstances beyond our control.
All goods are despatched to UK destinations by post, parcel post or courier as appropriate.

Overseas deliveries to Europe can take around 14-21working days from date of posting. Deliveries to the rest of the World are sent by surface mail can take around 2-5 weeks to arrive, although some Far East deliveries can take up to 12 weeks to arrive. Air deliveries take around 5-10 working days for delivery depending on the destination. Express delivery services are available - please phone or fax for details.

Christmas PostingChristmas Posting

The RSGB will endeavour to ensure all orders that are placed with us prior to Christmas will arrive before the 25th December. However different "last posting dates" apply according to where you live. The dates are as follows:

UK deliveries - 17th December
Western Europe - 1st December
North America (Surface) - 27th October
North America (Air) - 11th December
Rest of World (Surface) - 2nd October
Rest of World (Air) - 8th December

NOTE - It is probable that surface deliveries sent after the last posting date will arrive in time for Christmas however this can in no way be guaranteed. The similar situation applies to air deliveries but in general late posted items are less likely to arrive before Christmas. If you do specifically want a delivery by Christmas please contact the RSGB sales office, who will be pleased help. Discount VouchersDiscount Vouchers

The RSGB Bookshop does not accept book vouchers other than those issued by RSGB. This is due to the high administration costs involved with other high street book vouchers.

RSGB Membership Discount Vouchers: These are offered by the RSGB subject to certain conditions. The voucher is only valid for the named individual, the period stated and for the purchase of books. Merchandise, CDs and postage are not discountable. If the voucher is redeemed online it must still be sent to the RSGB marked with the appropriate order number and the date redeemed (a prepaid envelope will be provded on request). These vouchers may not be remeeded in conjunction with any other offer and have a minimum spend requirement. Other conditions may apply and these will stated on the ticket or can be provided on request.

RSGB Bookshop Gift Vouchers: These items are available to purchase from the RSGB bookshop. These voucher have no specific expiry date and may be used against any purchase from the shop with the exception of postage charges. These vouchers are only redemable at the RSGB bookshop and no change is given. If you wish to redeem more than £5 we only accept orders by post and these must be accompanied with the vouchers being redeemed.

The RSGB will not accept any responsibility for vouchers lost in the post and recommends that posting of vouchers is done by recorded delivery.

E&OE

AvailabilityAvailability

It may not always possible to fulfil customer's orders for a variety of reasons. Should we be unable to fulfil an order we will advise the customer of this in a timely fashion and refund where necessary any monies paid. We accept no liability or consequential loss if we are unable to complete an order. We will make no form of compensation should we be unable to fulfil an order for any reason. We also reserve the right to reject any order, should we see fit to do so.

Return PolicyReturn Policy

In the unlikely event of needing to return goods to the RSGB because they are faulty or damaged (except where this was stated in the description) please contact our sales department, who will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate. In the event that an incorrect item has been sent due to an RSGB error, we will send out a special returns label to cover the return postage, again please contact our sales department for this. We cannot accept claims for return postage that we have not been previously notified of or have been returned without using our return labels.

In the event that the customer deems the goods to be unsatisfactory they may be returned at the customer's own expense for a refund. Refunds will include the cost of outward postage or the appropriate proportion thereof. You may note that returns from orders in excess of two books will be deemed not to include a credit for postage except where the entire order is returned (UK only). Credits for returns of unsatisfactory items are only issued if the goods arrive back at the RSGB in a re-saleable condition and cannot be deemed as used. It is also the customer's responsibility to ensure the arrival of unsatisfactory goods and no claims will be honoured for "lost in the post" items.

All claims for returns and refunds must be made within 7 days of receipt regardless of cause.

This policy applies strictly to the UK only and overseas clients will need to contact the RSGB for details of our overseas policies.

PaymentPayment

Payment may also be made by post, enclosing a cheque or postal order. These should be crossed and made payable to "Radio Society of Great Britain ". If sending cash, please use registered post.

We accept Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Maestro, Amex, Diners Club and Switch cards but not Visa Electron cards.

Nevada is an independent company currently offering equipment at special prices for RSGB members. Although orders for the equipment is taken by this website this does not imply that the order has been accepted and the order can be declined at any point. If stock of the particular product becomes unavailable we reserve the right not to supply goods and provide a full refund and/or withdraw any offer without notice. To protect our members the financial transaction for the radio is conducted by the RSGB . Nevada are then contracted by the RSGB to provide the equipment, ship it direct to the customer in a timely manner and provide any technical support that may be required. At no point does Nevada enter into any form of contract with the RSGB member. The RSGB will therefore make any recompense required should goods not be delivered etc. Due to geographical distribution restrictions Nevada/RSGB offers can only be delivered to the UK. The RSGB however makes no assertions about the equipment and any queries and correspondence relating quality etc should be directed to Nevada. Any queries over technical issues, lost deliveries, damages or faulty equipment must be addressed directly to Nevada who will endevour to resolve the issue. The RSGB will be unable to resolve any of these issues although in the event of dispute may intervene as appropriate.

Megabooks is Seekbooks Ltd which is an independent company offering books at special prices for RSGB members. You will note that this is a seperate site and does not allow orders to be combined with RSGB orders. All financial transactions for the items purchased from this site are conducted by Seekbooks themselves without the involvement of the RSGB. At no point does the RSGB enter into any form of contract with the customer. Whilst the RSGB takes all reasonable care in the production of this website we can accept no responsibility of any inaccuracies or omissions contained with this website. With a large number of prices and product descriptions being displayed both here and in our advertising occasionally an error or an omission will occur. In such circumstances the RSGB reserves the right to decline orders, withdraw offers or items from sale, amend descriptions and/or take any other steps it deems necessary. Any changes made are entirely at the RSGB's discretion and can be made without prior notice.

Data ProtectionData Protection

Personal data that has been provided to the Radio Society of Great Britain (RSGB) on this website, is held under strict conditions and the protection of the UK Data Protection Act 1998. The RSGB holds this data for the specified usage only and does not use the data for any other purpose than that it was supplied for. The RSGB does not sell any of its databases to third parties and does not solicit orders from data held on this site. The RSGB does however reserve the right to send information on future events and offers to its members and those who have ordered from us from records held at our HQ. If you do not wish to receive these mailings please send an e-mail to sales@rsgb.org.uk who will amend your record to reflect this.

Under the terms of the Act the RSGB only retain the data as long as absolutely necessary to complete the agreed usage and comply with any legal obligations. Once the use to which the data is put has been completed all copies the data held in or on any media (including paper) are destroyed. Employees, officers of the RSGB (which includes Chairman of Committees, Sub Committees and Honorary Officers) when acting on behalf of the Society are entitled to make use of the data held by the RSGB. However, access to the data is restricted to those who need it to perform their duties on behalf of the RSGB.

Individuals have the right to be supplied with a copy of all the information held about them (but only them and not other individuals). This material can be obtained by written request (only) sent to the RSGB HQ. A fee for supplying the data is charged and this fee is currently set at £10 although this is subject to change. The fee must accompany the request for data and the RSGB will respond to the request within 40 days.

Any order that is placed on this site is subject to Radio Society of Great Britain terms and conditions. If you chose to reject these terms and conditions you should answer the question on checkout from the site "No" and you are then required to send an e-mail to sales@rsgb.org detailing the terms you are not prepared to accept. If no e-mail is recieved within 24 hours of the order arriving at the the Radio Society of Great Britain it will be deemed that you have accepted our terms & conditions. We will then ship your goods and this order will be bound by our terms & conditions. The Radio Society of Great Britain reserves the right to not ship goods if a customer choses to reject our terms & conditions. We make no commitment that we will vary our terms & conditions although we will attempt to accomodate variations if we feel it appropriate. The Radio Society of Great Britain decision in these matters will be considered final and we reserve the right not to detail reasons for decisions made. The Radio Society of Great Britain will not enter into debate over our terms and conditions and any variations will be on a strictly case by case basis.
