  • Description

The ARRL More Arduino for Ham Radio brings you ten new projects intended to inspire Radio Amateurs to experiment with Arduino boards. The book provides an introduction to many of the new Arduino boards and the add-on modules. There is also an overview of the software, tools and techniques needed that bring these projects to life.

Through ten practical projects ARRL More Arduino for Ham Radio demonstrates the concepts and provides detailed descriptions of how the software "sketches" work. The projects included are a Yaesu FH-2 Keypad, Yaesu CAT Display, RTTY Reader, USB CW Keyboard, and a Peltier Cooler Controller. There are also a number of Rotator projects including a Rotator Turn Indicator, Rotator Position Indicator, Build Your Own AR-40 Rotator Controller, a Modified AR-40 Rotator Controller and a CDE/HyGain Keypad Rotator Controller. Each project is complete as-is, but you also can add ideas of your own to create your own projects using the techniques and modules presented. That's part of the fun of the Arduino and the Open Source community.

If you are interested in Arduino already or are considering investigating all these terrific boards have to offer, the ARRL More Arduino for Ham Radio provides a great inspiration and thought provoking ideas for you.
