Amateur Radio is moving faster than ever and new technologies are emerging all the time. Are you aware of the changes? This new 16th edition has, as you would expect, been overhauled and updated by editor Ed Durrant, G8GLM/DD5LP. Chapters have been updated by new authors and new sections added with the 26 chapters representing the latest thinking in amateur radio.

All the important data is still included in the RSGB Handbook of Radio Communication but you will also find many new additions and revisions including introductions to LoRa programming, 3D-Printing and using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in amateur radio. Other changes from the 15th edition include, for example, a piece on Phased Vertical Arrays by Richard, GM3PPG/G4BYB included within the Practical HF Antennas chapter that was updated by Steve Clements, G1YBB. Similarly, Jim Bacon, G3YLA updated the section on Sporadic-E propagation included in the Propagation chapter. It does not stop there either with changes across the board - many more than can be listed here.
